I am Internet Explorer
2019, Experimental Lecture
In this work I give a poetic interpretation of Iranian women in art history, as a critique of the dominant White narrative of the West. I gathered the information for the lecture through oral stories, and an Internet search. The research is performed with a distorted mic, and this mask in blue. I designed the mask, which is laser cut from acrylic mirror. (2019)

Instructions for a Performance by Emma Goldman
2019, Experimental Lecture/ In collaboration with JDilla a.k.a. The Great Buddha
Location: Haskell Free Opera House
An experimental performance —-given sight specifically—- on the border of America and Canada—— during the Trump administration—— in which, a piece of tape divided the auditorium into two separate countries. My collaborator and I rewrote a speech by Emma Goldman, “Anarchy: what it really stands for” in a Surrealist Post-Internet exploration, and I performed as Emma Goldman with Dadaist style musicians (that had invisible strings on their instruments——- which included a piano).
